Life is hectic and schedules are impossible. Trying to squeeze a yoga class into your busy day and rushing to a studio ends up creating more stress in your life.

We make it easy and safe by bringing the yoga to you.

Your personalized, convenient private yoga program takes place in your Brooklyn home, with a weekly appointment at the perfect time for you. With the onset of the pandemic, our vaccinated teachers provide a safer environment than a group setting.

Private Yoga Brooklyn was founded in 2015. Realizing the need for quality in-home yoga lessons amongst Brooklyn's busy professionals, we shifted focus from group classes and began specializing in private sessions with individuals and couples.

Over the years we have worked with CEOs, doctors, lawyers, producers, financial consultants, writers, scientists, founders, musicians, psychotherapists, and so many more wonderful clients. We are pleased to create a space for professionals to restore physically and spiritually through yoga practice and return to their jobs, families, and personal lives feeling grounded, focused, and clear.

Paige Cara Yoga Coach Brooklyn

Paige is an approachable, well-trained and experienced teacher. She is also a bike rider, dancer, film lover, novice musician and true New Yorker. Paige began her mindful movement exploration in 2004, originally as a means to heal from a serious knee injury. At the tender age of 17, she underwent her first knee surgery to repair damage sustained playing soccer, long-distance running and aggressively snowboarding. By age 23, she was due to go under the knife again. Instead of operating, her doctor advised a strict diet of non-impact sports, namely swimming and yoga. Paige took her doctor’s advice to heart and approached her yoga practice with the same vigor that she had applied to marathon training, craving the adrenaline rush and looking for her body's limits. In the process, some unexpected magic took hold.

Although initially drawn to yoga to cultivate discipline, focus and physical strength, through nearly two decades of study and practice, Paige discovered the subtler qualities of balance, ease and grace. As time marched on, her practice grew quieter, slower, less flashy and more internal. Her breath grew smoother, mind more focused and stillness more attainable. The awareness techniques of yoga combined with skillful movement created a sense of calmness that permeated through her life. She learned to adopt her yoga to her stage of life, rather than adopt her life to her yoga. Paige is known for her mindful and compassionate teaching, helping people of all levels appreciate the joys of an embodied life.

Paige started teaching yoga in 2011 and has since imparted lessons to students of all ages and abilities including seniors, toddlers, pre/post-natal women and all folks in between. She has taught in schools, living rooms, houses of worship, corporations, and more. Paige has trained in movement and healing studies with many wonderful teachers and mentors, and continues to practice as a lifetime student to this day. She has been leading yoga teacher trainings and mentorship programs since 2016.
